Canadian Club 40 YO, 41 YO, 42 YO, and 43 YO Set
Canadian Club 40 YO
Hints of butter tarts, gentle cloves, nutmeg and other baking spices, and ripe purple plums are interlaced with the warming glow of real black pepper. After 40 years in barrels, the most refined oaky tones bring silky structure to the whisky, while avoiding the woodiness so common in long-aged whisky. Black pepper notes remain brisk and invigorating yet carefully constrained, from the middle right into the long elegant finish.
Canadian Club 41 YO
Aromatically caramel and toasted oak harmonizes with spiciness and slight vanilla sweetness. On the palate dark plum and vanilla are balanced with caramel, oak and a rye spiciness. Smooth with a lingering finish.
Canadian Club 42 YO
The second release in the Chronicles series from Canadian Club was recently awarded 96 points by Whisky Advocate. Aromas of robust rye spice, caramel and oak; the palate, brown sugar, baking spice and char notes; medium-bodied and sweet with notes of toffee and a balanced tartness are capped by a long finish.
Canadian Club 43 YO
Aged 43 years in oak cask; this is the oldest Canadian whisky available. It is a rare, limited release that’s silky-smooth and complex with aroma and flavours of toasted oak, dried fruit, vanilla, and spice. The palate shows a subtle sweetness with notes of nutmeg, leather, and sweet oak on a long warming finish.
